A stuffed macaw, animated with an internal speaking device interacts with a scene from Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds." It records sound bites and repeats them twice in a slightly distorted parrot-like manner. (see Back Talk, 2000) In this context, the parrot becomes part of the scene, both ridiculing and dramatizing it by cutting into the continuity of the dialogue.
